The benefits of Yoga

Yoga in Sanskrit means “to unite”, and has its origin in India, the spiritual land. Practiced by sages in ancient India, its usefulness and fame spread throughout the world, and is know recognized as a way to promote both physical and mental health. It can be considered as a scientific physiological training (kriya yoga).
The practice of Yoga basically consists of specific breathing exercises and postures called ‘asanas’. There are numerous ‘asanas’ intended to promote strength, flexibility and aid in relaxation.
The benefits of yoga is indeed tremendous. It aims to promote complete health, and studies have shown that it is useful even in curing chronic disorders.
